අර්‍ථකියනවා, v. to explain, expound, interpret, විස්තරකරනවා.

අ සාධාරණ, a. not general, සාමාන්‍යනොවන, special, විශේෂ; but usually inequitable, partial, unjust, unfair, අනඩු, පක්ෂපාත, අයුතු.

අෂ්ට විධ පාන, n. pl. B., the eight kinds of beverage allowed to priests, viz. that made from මීපැණි, මුද්‍රිකඵල, බොරළුදමනු, උපුල්අල, ඇට කෙසෙල්, මස් කෙසෙල්, අඹ, and දඹ: see each in its place. The juice of these is to be mixed with water.

ඇතුළා, v. t. pret. did spread out or strew, ඇතුරැවා.

අ රෝග, අ රෝගි, a. free from disease, healthy, sound, රෝග නැති.

අසව් දමනවා, v. to put hinges on, hinge.

අනුමෝදනාකරවනවා,, v. t. to make to share in අනුමෝදන්කරනවා (the merit and benefit of offerings &c.), සහභාගි-පංගුකාර-කරවනවා.

අක්ෂ දෘතයා, අක්ෂ ධූත්තයා, n. gambler, සූදුකාරයා.

අ වීර්‍ය්‍යතාව, අ වීර්‍ය්‍යය, n. effortlessness, lethargy, විර්‍ය්‍යනැතිකම, උනන්දු නැතිකම.

අග බිසව, n. chief queen, empress; pl. අගබිසෝවරු.
