පදිනවා, v. t. to paddle, row, (a boat); drive (a carriage); swing to and fro; pret. පැද්දා; p. pl. පැද; v. n. පැදීම.

පන්නනවා, පන්වනවා, v. t. to drive away, expel; pret. පැන්නුවා; v. n. පැන්වීම.

පරි·භවකරනවා, v. t. to contemn, disparage, dishonour, insult, revile, හෙළාදකනවා.

පස්·වණක්·ප්‍රීති, n. pl. five kinds of joy, viz. බුද්දකාපීතිය, joy that makes the hair stand up, ඛණිකා පීතිය, momentary joy; ඔක්කන්ති කා පිතීය, overwhelming joy; උබ්බෙග පීතිය, uplifting joy; එරණ පීතිය, exhilarating joy.
