පදඟිල්ල, n. (පද foot, ඇඟිල්ල digit), toe, පදැ ඟිල්ල.

ප්‍රාතිමෝක්‍ෂය, n. (pro-liberation), the name given to a collection of the various precepts contained in the Vinaya Pitaka. These precepts are read twice a month in every monastery, and individual priests are invited to make confession if they have broken any of the precepts read out. P. පාති මොක්‍ඛ.

පිරි·මසාගන්නවා, v. t. to eke out &c. as above; with ආශා, to gratify., satisfy.

පලස, n. woollen cloth, ලොම්රෙද්ද, viz. blanket, mantle, rug, carpet, elephant cloth or housing.

පම, n. love, ප්‍රේමය; delay, පමාව; woman.

ප්‍ර·බෝධිත, a: enlightened, instructed, ශික්‍ෂිත, දැනගත්; aroused, awakened, පිබිදුණු.

පරි·මාණකරනවා, v. t. to limit, bound, define, regulate, ප්‍රමාණයකරනවා.

පවුල්කාරයා, n. married man, family man.

පාණි·වාදයා, n. hand-musician, who plays striking with the hand, as a drummer &c.
