පොළ, n. spot (or cataract) on the eye, staphy loma; boil, tumour; eyeball, ඇස්ගුළිය; pl. පොළවල්.

පංචාංග, n. pl. (පංච අංග), five parts or constituents of anything, as five parts of the body which in worshipping must touch the ground, viz. the waist, elbows, knees, head and toes; five parts of a plant used medicinally, viz. root, bark, flowers, fruit and leaves.

පහූත·ජිහ්වා, n. large-tongued one: ap. of Buddha, who had a large tongue which was one of his personal beauties.

පිදුරු, n. c. or a. straw; පිදුරුගහක්, a stalk of straw, a straw.

පරි·පක්‍ව, a. fully matured, පැසුණු ripened, ඉදුණු; cooked, තැම්බුණු; digested, ජීර්‍ණවූ; shrewd, නුවණක්කාර.
