බානවා, v. t. to lower, let down, set down, take down, unload; රැවුල or ඉසකේ බානවා, take off the beard or hair, shave, cut the hair; බිළිබානවා, let down a fish hook, angle; අතු බානවා, prune; පැදුරුබානවා, mend mats; pret. බෑවා; v. n. බෑම.
