භූතය, n. element, five elements are enumerated, viz. earth, air, water, fire and space, ආකාශය; fact, matter, any existing thing (either animate or inanimate); fourteenth day of the moon's wane.

භූරි·ශස්, ad. Sans. manifoldly, නොයෙක් ආකාරයෙන්.

භීෂණයවෙනවා, v. i. to be terrified, appalled, ත්‍රස්තවෙනවා.

භීත, භිතවත්, a. (භී to fear), afraid, terrified, horrified, භයපත්, ත්‍රස්තවූ.

භෞත, a. elemental, මුල් ධාතුවූ; demoniacal, රාක්‍ෂස.

භාර, n. ap. of Vishnu as preserver of the world, විෂ්ණු.

භුවන·ත්‍රය, n. the three worlds, viz. the world of gods, of men, and of asaras.

භූතාලය, n. (·ආලය house, abode), demon-residence, any place supposed to be haunted by a demon or sprite, as a tree, mountain &c.; H. temple, දේවාලය.
