මණිරත්නය, n. (මණ්ඩ ornament), B. the second of the four kalpse or grand periods. They are named from the number of Buddhas born in them. In the මණ්ඩකල්පය two appeared, in the present or භද්‍රකල්පය there are to be five: see භද්‍රකල්පය.

මෞනය, n. (fr. මුනි sage, who maintains silence), silence, නිශ්ශබ්දකම, taciturnity, අල්පවාදිකම.

මැදහත්කම්කරනවා, v. to interpose, intercede, mediate.

මනෝමය·ගණිතය, n. mental arithmetic, හිතෙ න්ම ගණන් සෑදීමේ ක්‍රමය.

මෝචනය, n. setting free, see මෝක්‍ෂණය; liberation, excretion, පහකිරීම.

මුවිඳු, n. (මුව animal, ඉඳු lord), ap. of the lion, සිංහයා.
