මුල·වෘන්තය, n. root-stem, or stem from the root (of flowers &c,), scape, මුල් නටුව.

මහල, n. upper story, loft, උඩුමහල; pillow, කොට්ටය; palace, mansion, මාලිගාව; pl. මහල්.

මුඩුව, n. tuft of a coconut, පොල්මුඩුව.

මෙල්ල, a. T., gentle, obedient, submissive, යටහත්, කීකරු‍.

මධු, n. the sweet, what is sweet, viz. honey, මීපැණි; nectar of flowers, මල්පැණි; sugar, සීනි; liquorice, වැල්මී; milk, කිරි; spirituous liquor, සුරා; water, වතුර; the name of the demon bain by Vishnu. Bot.

මාර්‍ග·සත්‍යය, n. the way-truth, viz. one of the four main truths of Buddhism: see චතුරාර්‍ය්‍ය සත්‍ය.

මාලනිය, n. bud, දළුව, blossom, මල; moonlight, හඳපාන; river, ගඟ. Bot.

මොට්ටකරනවා, v. t. to blunt, dull the edge or point.

මෙ·තුවක්, ad. so long, so much, so many (as this), මෙපමණ.

මඦු, මඦුල, a. beautiful, ලක්‍ෂණ, pleasing, ප්‍රීති දායක, agreeable, ප්‍රසන්න.
