මුර්‍ඬ·ජාක්‍ෂරය, n. (·අක්‍ෂ:), cerebral letter, as ට, ඩ &c.

මගුල්·පෝරුව, n. marriage platform or board, on which the bride and bridegroom stand whilst their hands are tied with a string to complete the marriage ceremony according to native usage.

මෘදු·ලෝහය, n. soft or smooth metal, viz. plumbago, මිණිරන්.

මල·බුලත්, n. a kind of betel, jungle betel.

මාර්‍ග·ඥනය, n. knowledge of the four paths or or states leading to Nirvana.

මල්·පැණි, n. nectar or honey of flowers.

මහා·සාරය, n. (සාරය wealth), the supposed vast wealth of the three highest H. castes: that of the royal or military, that of the priestly and that of the Vellāla or agricultural. The first is said to be at least 100 kótis (1000 millions) of kahāpanas, which, if of gold, is more than 1000 million pounds sterling; the second is half that amount and the third half the amount of the second.

මලකඩ—මල—අල්ලනවා, or බැඳෙනවා, v. i. (dat.) to rust, become rusty, also මලබඳිනවා.

මහා·භාරත, n. the name of a H. epic poem; so called, it is said, because it was found heavier than the four Vedas when weighed by the Rishis.

මවිත, a. bound, tied, බැඳි; astonished, amazed; wonderful, surprising, පුදුම.
