මණිරත්නය, n. (මණ්ඩ ornament), B. the second of the four kalpse or grand periods. They are named from the number of Buddhas born in them. In the මණ්ඩකල්පය two appeared, in the present or භද්‍රකල්පය there are to be five: see භද්‍රකල්පය.

මූදු·හත්ත, n. sea-fungus, viz. sponge; pl. මූදු හතු.

මෘදු, a. soft, tender, mild, smooth, gentle, lenient, මොළොක්.

මන·දඟ, a. mind-subduing, bringing into subjection, සිත වසඟකරන.

මුද්‍රාංකනයකරනවා, v. t. to print, අච්චුගසනවා; with මිල to coin or stamp money, කාසි අච්චු ගහනවා.

මතැතා, n. (මත් ඇතා), elephant in rut, furious elephant.

මහාවිර්‍ය්‍යාව, n. ap. of Sanja wife of the sun.

මාංස·භක්‍ෂකයා, n. one of the carnivora, carnivorous animal, zoophagan, මස්කන්නා, මස් කන සතෙක්.

මානා, n. Himālayan lake, also called මානස.
