යාමය, n. the third heaven, a world inhabited by gods where a day is equal to two hundred of our years.

යජුර්‍වෙදය, n. (යජුස්වේදය), the Yajur Veda, one of the four Védas. It is divided into two parts, the black and the white, both of which are chiefly on religious rites, and its prayers are chiefly in metrical prose, යජුස්.

යොමුකරනවා, v. t. to concentrate, gather to a focus, direct towards, fix or apply (the mind &c.).
