ය, n. The first of the sixth or miscellaneous class of consonants. It is a semivowel corresponding to the letter Y.

යෙහෙළණියෝ, n. pl. or hon, of යෙහෙළණි: niece; daughter-in-law.

යෝග·ක්ඛෙමය, n. P. of යෝගක්‍ෂේමය.

යුගන්‍දරය,යුගන්‍ධරය, n. (යුගත් yoke, ධර holder), pole of a carriage to which the yoke or cross-bar is fixed, ඒරියාකඳ; name of the first or innermost of the seven ranges of mountains or rocks which are said to surround මහ මෙර and to form the boundaries of the seven oceans, යුගන්‍ධර පර්‍වතය.
