යුගන්‍දරය,යුගන්‍ධරය, n. (යුගත් yoke, ධර holder), pole of a carriage to which the yoke or cross-bar is fixed, ඒරියාකඳ; name of the first or innermost of the seven ranges of mountains or rocks which are said to surround මහ මෙර and to form the boundaries of the seven oceans, යුගන්‍ධර පර්‍වතය.

යන්ත්‍ර·ශිල්පියා, n. machinist, යන්ත්‍ර සාදන්නා.

යමක·ප්‍රාතිහාර්‍ය්‍යය, n. twin or double miracle, දෙයාකාර ආශ්චර්‍ය්‍යය: a power said to have been possessed by Buddha to cause a stream of fire to issue from one pore of his body (ලෝම සිදුරකින්), and a stream of water from another at one and the same time, and that to prove his miraculous power to the නිගණ්ඨ or naked mendicants be caused such streams to issue together from his eyes, ears and nostrils. The power to work these miracles was the result of his having accomplished තේජෝකසීණ and අපෝකසිණ.

යක්‍ෂාවේශ, a. (යක්‍ෂ ආ:), possessed by a demon or demons.

යක්‍ෂාවේශයා, n. demoniac.

ය·හද, a. (හද for හෘද), iron-hearted, hard-hearted, හිත දැඩිවූ.

යාවත්, a. or ad. as long or much as, until, යම් පමණ, තුරු, තෙක්.

යත·ලබ, n. (යත as, according to, ලබ receiving), whatever or as much as is received, ලබන පමණ.

යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.
