යවුල, n. (ය iron, උල stake), iron crowbar, spade or iron instrument for digging, යකඩ උල: pt. යවුල්.

යෝග·වාහිය, n. (යෝග uni‍on, වාහි conveying, effecting) menstruum or medium for mixing medicines; alkali, යවාකාරලුණු; mercury, රහදිය.

යාච්ඤාකරනවා, v. to pray, supplicate.

යාපත්, a. for යහපත්.

යුගය, n. two, couple, කුට්ටම, pair, යුග ලය; yoke, වියගහ; a measure of four cubits; era, age or duration of the world, the four ages are called කෘත or සතය,ත්‍රෙතා,ද්වාපාර, and කලි, which last is the present age: see කෘතයුගය &c.

යටකරනවා, v. t. to put under, place beneath; fig. keep back, suppress, conceal.
