යමුනා·ගඟ, යමුනා, n. the Juamna river, which takes its rise on the south side of the Himalayan range a little to the northwest of the source of the Ganges; in H. myth. the river is personified as the daughter of Súrya and sister of Yama.

යනෙන, v. adj. pres. (යන එන), that go and come or go to and fro.

යංශය, n. (ය අංශය), lit. part of ය, viz ්‍ය, which represents ය when joined to a consonant, as කාව්‍ය for කාව්ය.
