යංශය, n. (ය අංශය), lit. part of ය, viz ්‍ය, which represents ය when joined to a consonant, as කාව්‍ය for කාව්ය.

යව්‍ය, a. fit for barley, sown with barley, යව වැවීමට සුදුසු වූ, යව වපුරාපු.

යාම්‍ය, n. ap. of the Rishi අගස්ති; and of Vishnu; a. southern;

යාතිකාව, n. mvocation, යැදීම, අයදීම, incantation. මැතිරිම.

යක්·දරයා, n. (දරයා bearer), one possessed by a demon, demoniac, යක්‍ෂාවේශය.

යන්ත්‍රාගාරය, n. (යන්ත්‍ර ආ:), machine room or house or shop, factory.

යහපත්, a. good, excellent, virtuous, kind; suitable.

යොන්, a. fr. යවනය: Arabian, අරාබි, Moorish, මරක්කල.

යශෝ·රාශිය, n. abundant fame, great renown or much good fortune, බහු කීර්‍තතිය. මහත් ශුභය.

යථා·සන්තනීකාංගය, n. (යථා as, සන්තතික spread, අංගය ordinance), ordinance enjoining upon the B. P. not to shift or alter the mat or bed when spread out to repose on. As it is laid down so it must remain. This is one of the තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග.
