යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.

යාචිත, a. solicited, begged, ඉල්ලනලද.

යොර, ad. again, නැවත; යොරයොර, again and again, ‍නැවතනැවත; always, නිතරම.

යුවතිපති, a. youthful, යෞවන.

යවාග්‍ර·ජ, n. (යව·අග්‍ර top or ear, ජ produced), saltpetre, nitre, වෙඩිලුනු.

යන්ත්‍රයා‍, n. charioteer, රථාචාරියා; elephant driver, ඇතරුවා.

යොදනවා, v. c. to cause to construct, get constructed; cause to contrive &c.; cause to engage in; pret. යෙදෙවුවා; v. n. යෙදවීම.
