ලතිකාව, n. twining plant, creeper, වැල.

ලෝකය n. the world, ලොව; pl. worlds in general or the three portions into which the Universe is supposed to be divided, viz. earth, heaven and hell, the two latter being subdivided into various heavens and hells, see තුන්ලොව.

ලනු·පුඩුව, n. rope-noose, string-noose.

ලොද, ළොද, n. pulp of fruits, soft part of fruit, as of the young coconut.

ලුබ්ධයා, n covetous or greedy person, ලෝභ යා; hunter, දඩයම්කාරයා; libertine, සල්ලාලයා.

ලියවෙනවා, v. i. to become written inadvertently; to enrol one's self, be articled, enlist; pret. ලියවුණා; v. n. ලියවීම.

ලාසකයා, n. actor, dancer, නාටකයා.

ලියුම්කරු, ලියුම්කරුවා, ලියුම්කාරයා, n. the writer, or writer in general, correspondent.

ලජ්ජාන්‍විත, a. (ලජ්ජා අන්විත), imbued with shame, ashamed, bashful, modest, ලජ්ජා ඇති.
