ලෝක·ව්‍යවහාරය, n. usage, custom, habit or practice of the world.

ලේලා, n. fresh-water fish of the carp tribe, supposed to be the mahseer; pl. ලේල්ලු.

ලජ්ජාන්‍විත, a. (ලජ්ජා අන්විත), imbued with shame, ashamed, bashful, modest, ලජ්ජා ඇති.

ලෝකෝත්තර·චිත්තය, n. the mind exalted above the world by religious meditation and attainments, ලොවට උතුම්වූ සිත.

ලී·පණුවා, n. wood-worm, see ගස්පණුවා.

ලාසනය, ලාස්‍යය, n. dancing, නැටීම a concert of song music, and dancing; a mode of dancing.

ලෝකය n. the world, ලොව; pl. worlds in general or the three portions into which the Universe is supposed to be divided, viz. earth, heaven and hell, the two latter being subdivided into various heavens and hells, see තුන්ලොව.

ලොතරැයිය, n. Eng., lottery.

ලෝම·මය, a. (මය aff), made of wool or hair, woollen, ලොමින් කළ.

ලෝක·ගුරු, n. teacher of the worlds: ap. of Buddha as teacher of the three worlds, see තුන්ලොව.
