වාද·භූමිය, n. arena of debate, place of debate

විෂ·වැද්දවීම, v. n. of විෂවද්දවනවා: causing venom or poison to penetrate, poisoning, infecting.

වැඩ·දායකකම, වැඩදායකතාව, n. profitableness &c.

ව්‍යනුරාව, a. (වි emp., අනුරාව), resonant, reverberant, echoing, අනුනාද.

වැරදෙනවා, v. i. mistake or error occurs to (any one); pret. වැරදුණා.

වස්වසනවා, v. i. (වස් the rains, වසනවා dwell), to sojourn during the rainy season. According to B. the monk has no settle home, but during the rains may remain with a householder. Whilst there it is usual for him to give religious instruction to the inmates and others who attend.

විවේකාහිරත, a. (අහිරත longing), longing for or delighting in solitude or asceticism, තපස් භාවයට ආශාවෙන.
