වි·වරණය, n. (වි severally, වෘ to choose), opening uncovering, ඇරීම; description, explanation, comment, solution, විස්තරකිරීම; permission, අවසරය.

වැල්ල, n. the sands (of the shore), shore, beach, sandy place.

විනය·පිටකය, n. name of one of the B. sacred books, the second of the Three Pitakas relating entirely to the priests. It is divided into five main parts called respectively පාරාජිකා, ප‍චිති, සුළුවග, මහවග and පරිවාර, this last being a summary of the chief doctrines of the other four.

වීජ·මූලිය, n. seed-dust, viz. spore, sporule.

වි·නිශ්චයකාරතැන, වි·නිශ්චයකාරයා, n. the judge.

වි·භූතිය, n. (වි emp., see භූතිය), superhuman power, මනුෂ්‍යාධික බලය; majesty, pomp, splendour, මහන්තත්‍වය, ඵෙශ්වර්‍ය්‍යය; eight faculties said to be possessed by Siva.
