වසන්·නෙත්, n. (වසන් fr. වශ fascinating, නෙත් eyes), ap. of Siva.

වන·වාස·වීම, v. n. living in a forest, asceticism.

වෘෂධ්වජයා, n. (වෘෂ bull, rat, goodness; ධ්වජ banner, emblem), ap. of ශිව or ගණේශ; a good man, ධර්‍මශිලයා, යහපතා.

වන·මක්‍ෂිකාවා, n. jungle or wild fly, viz. gadfly, ඇටමැස්සා.

වේගය, n. speed, velocity, rapidity; energy, force, impetus, සැරකම; hastiness, ඉක්මන් කම; straining, tenesmus, තැටමිල්ල; evacuation (of the bowels &c.), පැහැරුම.
