ශාන්තිය, n. quiet, peace, tranquillity stoicism, ශාන්තතාව.

ශස්ත්‍ර·මාර්‍ජයා, n. to (මාර්‍ජ to cleanse), armourer, armour-keeper, ආයුධ බලාගන්නා.

ශෝකාපනෝදදෘෂ්ටිය, n. stoicism, උදාසීන දෘෂ්ටි ය, උදාසීන ධර්‍මය.

ශ්‍රිය, ශ්‍රියාව, n. any manifest eminence: beauty, elegance, splendour, prosperity, auspiciousness; fortune, fame, glory, අලංකාරය, දීප්තිය, ‍‍ඓශ්චර්‍ය්‍යය, කල්‍යාණය, කීර්‍තතිය, තේජස.

ශ, n. The first of the seventh or sibilant class of letters. It is a palatal sibilant and its true sound is probably a light Sh as heard in the word Cession; but in general usage it does not differ from the dental ස. Some words are written either with ශ or ස.

ශ්‍රී·වත්සය, n. lit. beautiful breast, viz. Vishnu's mark said to be a peculiarly shaped curl of hair on his breast, විෂණුගේ ළයේ සලකුණ.

ශ්‍රමණ, a. ascetic, monastic, මහණ, තාපස.
