සිව්·පිළි·සිඹියා, n pl. (පිළි emp., සිඹියා knowledge. See පටිසමගිදාන), the four kinds of knowledge attained by Rahats, viz. of meaning, අර්‍ථ, of religious doctrines, ධර්‍ම, of commentaries on the same, නිරුක්ති, and superhuman enlightenment ප්‍රතිහාන.

සහජාවබෝය, n. (සහජ අව:), instinctive perception, intuition ස්වභාවයෙන් වැටහෙන ඥානය.

සමු, n. leave, permission (to go), (යන්ට) අවසරය.

සඟිය, n. (cp. සංගීතී), compilation, collection, සංග්‍රහය, sp. the five Sangis or divisions of Buddha's teachings, called දික්, මැදුම්, සංයුත්, අංගෝත්තර and කුදුගොත්. To these are added commentaries and glosses, and the difficult passages of these again are explained in other works called ග්‍රන්‍ථිපද, knotty passages.

සාමි·දරුවෝ, n. See ස්වාමිදරුවෝ.

සවෝදි·බොනවා, v. to drink as a toast to a person's honour.

සාරංගයා, n. variegated one: ap. of a species of deer or gazelle, මුවා, of the elephant, අලියා, and of the චාතකයා, which see.

සකෘදාගාමි·මාර්‍ගය, n. the path or way so called, leading to the above stage.

සුදු·හුනු·දිය, n. white lime-water, whitewash.
