සම්මර්‍ශනය, n. (සං emp., මෘශ්), rubbing; pondering.

සුරාරියා, n. (සුර god, අරියා enemy), enemy of the gods, viz. demon or Titan opposed to the gods, අසුරයා.

සිව්·පිළි·සිඹියා, n pl. (පිළි emp., සිඹියා knowledge. See පටිසමගිදාන), the four kinds of knowledge attained by Rahats, viz. of meaning, අර්‍ථ, of religious doctrines, ධර්‍ම, of commentaries on the same, නිරුක්ති, and superhuman enlightenment ප්‍රතිහාන.
