සත්තර්‍පණය, n. (සං, තර්‍පණ fr. තෘප් to satisfy), satisfying, gratifying, refreshing, සතුටුකිරීම, සැතැප්පවීම, refreshment, වෙහෙසනැතිකිරීම or සැපසනීප ගෙනදෙන දේ.

සන්නාසිකම, n. H. asceticism, තාපසකම.

සං·ඝට්ටන, a. striking, percussive, concussive.

සංඝාදිසේස, n. B., the remaining or second class of sins dealt with in the code pertaining to the priesthood, of which sins there are thirteen to which the priests are exposed, mentioned in the ප්‍රාතිමෝක්‍ෂය. When any one of these has been committed it must be confessed before the සංඝයා or assembly of priests, who then award the punishment due.
