සේද·ජයා, n. (සේද fr. ශ්වේද warmth, ජ produced), worm, insect, පණුවා.

සිරි·පදය, සිරිපා, n. blessed foot or lovely foot, see ශ්‍රී පාදය.

සල්ලිය, n. T., a coin called challie, one eighth of a penny in value; pl. සල්ලි, challies or money in general.

සකෘදාගාමි, a. (සකෘත් once, ආගමි coming), pert. to the second of the four stages in the path to Nirvàna, viz, having only one more incarnation. The four stages are, සෝවාන්, සකෘදාගාමි, අනාගාමි and අර්‍හත්.

සුරෝත්තමයා, n. (සුර උත්:), (his) celestial eminence, viz. the sun, සූර්‍ය්‍යයා.

ස්වර්‍ග·මෝක්‍ෂය, n. the release or happiness of heaven, celestial happiness.

සාකටිකයා, n. cart or carriage driver, කරත්ත දක්කන්නා, or one who travels by cart or carriage, කරත්තෙන් යන්නා.

ස්කන්‍ද·කුමාරයා, ස්කන්‍ද, n. ap. of කාර්‍තතිකේය.

ස්ත්‍රී·රංජනය, n. (රංජනය delight), woman's delight, viz. betel with its adjuncts, බුලත්.
