සුදු·පාට, n. white colour.

සඟිය, n. (cp. සංගීතී), compilation, collection, සංග්‍රහය, sp. the five Sangis or divisions of Buddha's teachings, called දික්, මැදුම්, සංයුත්, අංගෝත්තර and කුදුගොත්. To these are added commentaries and glosses, and the difficult passages of these again are explained in other works called ග්‍රන්‍ථිපද, knotty passages.

සමෘද්ධ, a. (සං emp., සෘද්ධ prosperous), prosperous, flourishing, සඵලවත්; grown, increased, වර්‍ධනවූ; filled, full, completed, පූර්‍ණවූ, සම් පූර්‍ණවූ.

සහාය, n. help, assistance, උපකාරය.

සතර·උපාය, n. the four devices or means used to conquer or govern, viz. conciliation, gifts, sowing dissension, punishment, චතුරෝපාය.

ස්තතනය, n. (ස්තන to sound, thunder), sound, noise, ඝෝෂාව, thunder, ගිගුරුම.

සුරනා, සුරනිඳු, n. (නා for නාථ, ඉඳු Lord), Lord of heaven: ap. of ශක්‍රයා.
