සුව, n. (fr. සුඛ). health, welfare, see සුවය; Nirvāna. නිවන. Also = සුවයා, which see.

සුද්ධාවාසය, n. (ආවාසය abode), holy abode, the name of each of six Brahma worlds where residence is the stage immediately preceding නිර්‍වාණය.

සමායුත, a. joined, connected, සන්‍ධිවූ, සම්බන්‍ධ.

සේතු·බන්‍ධනය, n. (සේත්‍ර bridge, බන්‍ධය binding, connection), dam, embankment, වේල්ල; sp. the ridge of rocks called Adam's Bridge, said to have been formed by Hanūman as a bridge for the forces of Rāma when in pursuit of Rāvana. See රාමචන්‍ද්‍රයා.

සෙ‍මෙර·මුවා, n. (මුවා for මෘගයා), see සෙ‍මරා.

සක්මන, n. walking, walk, stroll, ඇවිදීම; promenade, ඇවිදින ස්ථානය.

සොටු, n. mucus of the nose.

සිරි, n. blessings &c., see ආසිරි.

සූ·පර්‍වන්, n. (සු emp., පර්‍ව joint or knot), bamboo, උණගහ; arrow, ඊය; a special lunar day on which religious ceremonies are performed as the full and new moon and the 8th and the 14th days of each fortnight.
