ස්වෛරිහෙවායා, n volunteer soldier, volunteer, වොලන්ථියර් නම් හේවායා.

සක්·වළ, n. (සක් region, වළ circumference), B., a whole round or complete set or system of worlds, including the earth, with මහමෙර in its centre, and around its circumference a wall of rock, the sun and moon and all worlds as far as the light of the sun extends, as well as a series of hells and heavens, the latter consisting of Deva lokas and Brahma lokas. Such Sakvalas are said to be innumerable.

සර්‍ව·භක්‍ෂක, a. omnivorous, සියලුආකාර දේ කන් නාවූ.

සෛන්‍ධව, සෛන්‍ධව·ලවණ, n. rock-salt: see සින්‍ධුලවණ.

සමුදීරණය·ප්‍රගුණකරගන්නවා, v. to practise recital, rehearse.

ස්වාදු, a. fr. ස්වාද to taste: sweet, dainty, agreeable, මිහිරි, ප්‍රසන්න.

සිල්ගන්නවා, v. B., to undertake the observance of religious duties, engage in religious duties with a view to merit.

සානුකම්ප, සානුකම්පක, a. (ස with, අනුකම්ප compassion), compassionate, sympathizing, අනුකම්පාවෙන.

සිතීම, v. n. of සිතනවා and සිතෙනවා: thinking, supposition, thought.
