අ ජේය, a. unconquerable, invincible, impregnable, indefeasible, (යමෙකුට) පරාදකළ නො හැකිවූ.

අ පරාධීන, a. (අ priv.), not subject to another, independent, වසඟ නැති.

අනු වෘත්තිය, n. complaisance, ප්‍රසන්න ගතිය, compliance, එකමුතුවීම; result, consequent, (see අනුවර්‍තතනය).

අට පිරිකර, n. pl. the eight accoutrements or articles required by a B. P., viz. bowl, under-garment, single robe, double robe, girdle, knife or razor, needle and water-strainer: පාත්‍රය, අඳනය, තනිපටසිවුර, දෙපටසිවුර, පටිය, පිහිය, ඉඳිකටුව, පෙරහන්කඩ.

අග මෙහෙසි, අග මහේසිකාව, n. chief queen, empress; pl. අගමෙහෙසිවරු, අගමහේසිකාවරු.

අභවකාසිකාංගය, n. (අංගය), open-air ordinance, viz. the ordinance in B. which requires monks to live altogether without shelter.

අනන්තකම, අනන්තතාව, n. endlessness; boundlessness, infinitude; නිමක්නැතිකම, &c.

අටවිය, n. jungle, forest, බැද්ද, වනය.

අ මුක්තය, n. non-missile, viz. hand-weapon, knife, වීසිනොකරන ආයුධය, පිහිය.

අරණ්‍ය වාසය, n. hermitage, forest-dwelling, වන වාසය, වනයේ තපස් නිවස.
