අ පොහොසත්කම, n. lack of riches, ධනනැති කම, poverty, දිළිඳුකම; incompetency &c., inability, බලනැතිකම &c.

අනනු යායිනී, a. (අන් priv., අනු with, යායිනි going), illogical: as අනනුයායිනී නිගමනය, illogical conclusion, paralogism.

අස් වල්ගය, n. horse's tail, අශ්ව වල්ගය.

අභි නන්දනයා, n. a Jaina sage or saint, Rishi, සෘෂියා.

අභි මුඛ, a. or post. present, before the face or in front of, facing, ඉදිරිපිට.

අ ශුර, a. unheroic, ධෛර්‍ය්‍යනැති, බියසුලු; unskilful, අසමර්‍ථ.
