අ වර්‍ණ, a. colourless, පාටනැති; unrenowned, dispraised, ප්‍රශංසානොලත්.

අල දරන, v. adj. bulb-bearing (yams &c.), bulbiferous.

අ නාශ්‍යාතාව, n. imperishableness, &c., විනාශ නොවන ස්‍වභාව.

අනු කර්‍ෂත්‍වය, n. polarity, magnetism, කාන්දම් ගුණය.

අසුව. n. life, පණ; also p. pl. of අසුවෙනවා: අසුවී.

අතුරු දන්කරනවා, v. t. to cause to vanish, occult, නොපෙනීයන්ට සලස්වනවා.

අ රව, a. soundless, noiseless, silent, ශබ්දනැති නිශ්ශබ්ද.

අන්තඃ කල්පය, n. a certain number of years in Buddhism: according to B. man's age increases by imperceptible degrees from ten years to an Asankhya (අසංඛ්‍ය) and then decreases in the same way to ten years: the period required for this is an Antahkalpa. See අසංඛ්‍ය.

අත්තිවාරම, n. T. foundation, base.
