බ්‍රහ්ම·දණ්ඩී, lit. brahmin or brahmarod, a shrub, Clerodendron Siphonanthus.

බෝ,බෝගහ, peepul or sacred fig-tree, Ficus religiosa (Urti.). It is regarded as sacred because, it is said, on the day when Gautama attained Buddhahood he sat down under it on a throne which had miraculouby sprung up for him on the instant: see බෝධිපර්‍ය්‍යංකය.

ළැහැබ, ළැහැඹ, n. thicket, jungle, කැලය; pl. ළැහැබවල්.
