එක සර, a. E. of ඒකචාරි: walking or acting alone, solitary, තනිව හැසිරෙන.

එක විට, n. or a. once; at once.

එළි සමකොට ලියනවා, or කියනවා, v. t. to write or say in rhyme.

එළඹීම, එළඹුම, v. n. of එළඹෙනවා: approaching &c.

එළි හදයා, n. a sort of sea fish.

එපා, part. (probably from ඒ පහ – that aside): signifying with first pers. dat. case, not wanted, will not accept; with 2nd pers. nom. case as an auxiliary after the infinitive mood it is prohibitive, as උඹ or උඹලා යන්ට එපා, Go thou or ye not.
