උච්ඡේද දෘෂ්ටි, a. pert., to the doctrine of excision or annihilation.

උපේක්ෂා පාරමිතාව, n. B., attainment or observance of stoicism or perfect indifference to all things: see පාරමිතාව.

උ, n. The seventh vowel of the alphabet. Its sound is that of oo in Foot. Its non-initial forms /?/ and ු called පාපිල්ල—lower or foot piece—are placed below the consonant they vocalize, as කු, මු, koo, moo.

උසුවනවා, v. t. to raise, lift up, elevate, ඔසව නවා.
