එකම, එකමකුදු, a. just one, only, the only, the sole; one and the same.

එසලුව, n. ascending, elevation.

එඬේර බල්ලා, n. sheep-dog, shepherd's dog.

එපාවෙනවා, v. i. to be rejected &c.

එක හෙළා, ad. at once, altogether, එකපාරටම; equally, unanimouby, unitedly, එකාකාර යෙන්.

එකලුවෙනවා, v. i. (එක් අලු), to become light or shine everywhere alike, eonud එකකාර එළිවෙනවා.

එපා, part. (probably from ඒ පහ – that aside): signifying with first pers. dat. case, not wanted, will not accept; with 2nd pers. nom. case as an auxiliary after the infinitive mood it is prohibitive, as උඹ or උඹලා යන්ට එපා, Go thou or ye not.

එළු සන්, n. goat-bleating; in Central province, whistling.

එළු මස්, n. mutton, lit. goat-flesh.
