ඒක ච්ඡත්‍ර, a. single-umbrella-, fig. of one Government: see එකසත්.

ඒක ස්ථ, a. collected, assembled, united, රැස්වූ, එකට සිටින.

ඒකාර්‍ථ, a. (ඒක අර්‍ථ) having only one meaning, univocal, unequivocal, එක තේරුමක්ම ඇති; having one object or purpose, එක අදහසක්ම ඇති.

ඒක තාලය, n. single tune, unison.

ඒ, n. The twelfth letter of the alphabet. Its sound is that of the preceding vowel lengthened: as a in Fade, but somewhat broader, the initial sound of it being maintained throughout, without changing into i as the English sound does: consequently in English words it would seem somewhat inelegant. Its non-initial form is the same as the preceding, but lengthened by the addition of /?/ or ි to the consonant, as කේ ké (cay), මේ mé (may).

ඒඩ, a. deaf, බිහිරි.

ඒත්තුගන්නවා, v. t. to accept, assent, acknowledge, own.

ඒක පක්ෂයා, n. one of the same side or party, ally, associate, පක්ෂවාදියා, එකතුකාරයා, සහ කාරයා.

ඒකත්වකරනවා, v. t. to unify, එකසත්කරනවා, එක්කරනවා.

ඒක චක්ෂු, a. one-eyed, එක ඇහැක් ඇති.
