ඕ, n. The fifteenth letter of the alphabet. It is a long o which retains its initial sound to the end, and does not, like the English long o, terminate in oo: consequently it is a broad and, to English ears, a bightly vulgar sound.

ඕපාදූපය, n. evil-speaking, detraction, bander, scandal, කේලම.

ඕසේ, n. continued sound of the voice after the word is finished.

ඕඝය, n. multitude, සමූහය; flood, torrent, වතුරගැල්ම; mus. quick time.

ඕමක, a, young, බාල, ළාමක.

ඕනෑකරනවා, ඕනෑවෙනවා, v. to need, require, be necessary to, as මේක මට ඕනෑ... This is requisite to me.
