විද්‍යා, n. pl. or a. (විද් to wit, know), knowledge of various kinds, science, see විද්‍යාව; pert. to knowledge, or science.

විද්‍යා·ධරයා, n. (විද්‍යා magical knowledge, ධරයා holder), aerial demigod who has attained his state of power by magical rites and incantations; good or evil genius attending upon the gods; a kind of spirit or fairy.
