පොත්·සකිය, n. (සකිය ring or button), book-button, viz. button at the end of the පොත් ලනුව.

මේරූ·පර්‍වතය, මේරුව, n. the mountain Maha, Meru in the centre of a chakkavala (සක්වළ) 168,000 yoduns or more than two million miles high, one half of which is below the surface of the earth. On its top is the heaven of the Tavatinsa Gods and at its base dwell the Asuras.

සක්·ලකුණ, n. (සක් for චක්‍ර‍), mark on the body indicating the attainment of universal empire or of Buddhaahip.

සක්·වළ, n. (සක් region, වළ circumference), B., a whole round or complete set or system of worlds, including the earth, with මහමෙර in its centre, and around its circumference a wall of rock, the sun and moon and all worlds as far as the light of the sun extends, as well as a series of hells and heavens, the latter consisting of Deva lokas and Brahma lokas. Such Sakvalas are said to be innumerable.

සක්·සින්නම, n. (සක් fr. ශංඛ, සින්නම T. horn), conch-horn, chank perforated at the spiral end and used as a horn.

සකෘදාගාමි, a. (සකෘත් once, ආගමි coming), pert. to the second of the four stages in the path to Nirvàna, viz, having only one more incarnation. The four stages are, සෝවාන්, සකෘදාගාමි, අනාගාමි and අර්‍හත්.
