උප ශය, n. allayment, relief; lying or beeping near, ළඟ නිදාගැනීම.

දුරේනිදානය, n. first of the three epochs in the life of Gōtama Bodhisat, extending from his resolve to become Buddha to his birth in the Tusita heaven.

නිදාන·ත්‍රය, n. the three origins or periods of the existence of Gautama as බෝධිසත්‍ව and බුදුන්, viz. from his resolve to attain Buddhahood to his birth in the Tusita Paradise; the next, from that priod to his attainment of Buddhahood, and third from that attainment till his death.

නිදානය, n. (for නිධානය) hidden treasure, hoard; (fr. S. නිදාන) chief cause, origin, source, ප්‍රධාන හේතුව, මුල; diagnosis, රෝග නිශ්චය.

නිදානවෙනවා, v. i. to become the cause or origin.

බඬ·රෝගය, n. fixed or chronic disease, නිදාන රෝගය.
