යක්‍ෂ·බන්‍ධනය, n. demniacal possession, යක්‍ෂයා වේශය.

යක්‍ෂයා, n. devil, demon, fiend; H. myth. demigod attendant on කුවේරා, such are guardians of his treasures and gardens.

යකා, n. E. of යක්‍ෂයා: devil, demon, fiend; pl. යක්කු.

රතැස්·දරයා, n. (රත ඇස්, දර bearing), red-eyed one, viz. devil or demon, යක්‍ෂයා.

වට·වාසියා, n. banyan-tree dweller, viz. demigod or demon attendant upon කුවේර and fond of lodging in this tree, යක්‍ෂයා.

වැසෙනවා, v. i. of වසනවා, v. t.: to shut or close of itself or admit of being shut; of වස නවා, v. i. to become covered; abide, dwell; to indwell, take possession, as යක්‍ෂයෙක් ඔහු ට වැසුණ or වැහුණ, a demon took possession of or entered him.

සතර·වරම්·දෙවියෝ, n. pl. (වරම් chief), the four guardian deities of the four cardinal points and the four quarters of the world, viz. on the East, ධෘතරාෂ්ට්‍ර, chief-of the ගන්‍ධර්‍ව යෝ on the South විරුඪ, chief of the කුම්භා ණ්ඩයෝ; on the West, විරූපාක්‍ෂ, chief of the නාගයෝ; on the North, වෛශ්‍රවණ, chief of the යක්‍ෂයෝ.

සර්‍ව·පිශාච·භවනය, n. abode of all demons, pandemonium, සියලු යක්‍ෂයන්ගේ වාසය.

හර්‍ය්‍යක්‍ෂයා, n. (හරි green, අක්‍ෂි eye), ap. of the lion, සිංහයා.

හේමවත, n. a secondary chief of the demons called යක්‍ෂයෝ, the great chief of whom is කුවේරා.
