·ගෙඩිය, n. wood-apple, දිවුල්ගෙඩිය.

අ තන් ගුණය, අ තදගුණය, අත ගුණය, n. (අ priv., තදගුණය), gram. external attribute, viz. non-inherent attribute or attainment, as එතරවුණ, who has crossed or attained.

අ ව්‍යවකුල, අ ව්‍යාකුලිත, a. unconfused, unperplexed, undistracted, අවුල් නැති, වල්මත් නොවන.

අ වික්ෂිප්ත, a. unscattered, undiverted, විසිරී නැති; unconfused, unperplexed, undistracted, වියවුල්නැති, විකාරනැති.

අ සංකීර්‍ණ, a. unmixed, unconfused, අමිශ්‍ර, නිරවුල්.

අ ස්ඛලිත, a. unshaken, firm, unmoved, අචලිත, නොසෙලවුණ or නොපැකිලුණ.

අංග රාග, n. perfume for anointing, unguent, විලවුන්.

අකුළවනවා, v. c. to cause to roll up, &c.; pret. ඇකිළෙවුවා; v. n. ඇකිළවීම.

අගරා, n. unguent for anointing, විලවුන්.

අගාරක, a. fr. අගාරය: having a household, පවුල්කාර, non-celibate, laic, ගිහි.

අගාරකයා, n. householder, පවුල්කාරයා, one not a celibate, ගිහියා.

අඟවනවා, v. t. to intimate, hint (see හඟවනවා); pret. ඇඟෙවුවා; v.n. ඇඟවීම.

අඟුව, n. thumb, මාපටඇඟිල්ල; armlet, අත් වළල්ල; unguent, විලවුන්.

අට පිරිකර, n. pl. the eight accoutrements or articles required by a B. P., viz. bowl, under-garment, single robe, double robe, girdle, knife or razor, needle and water-strainer: පාත්‍රය, අඳනය, තනිපටසිවුර, දෙපටසිවුර, පටිය, පිහිය, ඉඳිකටුව, පෙරහන්කඩ.

අටවනවා, v. t. to set as a trap or spring ready to go off; place the arrow on the string; pret. ඇටෙවුවා; v. n. ඇටවීම.
