අ කෘත හස්ත, a. (හස්ත hand), of unpractised hand, unaccustomed, unskilled, ‍නුපුරැදු, අසමර්‍ථ.

අ පරිචිත, a. unaccustomed to, unacquainted with.

අ භාවිත, a. unaccustomed, unpractised, පුරුදු නැති, පුහුණුනැති.

ඇබ්බැහි, a. accustomed, practised, පුරුදු.

ඇබ්බැහිවෙනවා, v. i. to become accustomed to, familiar with, පුරුදුවෙනවා.

ත, n. The first of the dentals or fourth class of consonants. Its sound is that of th sharpened, as a foreigner unaccustomed to the sound would pronunce it in the word This, viz. about half way between Tis and This.

දැතම·හුරු, a. accustomed to use both hands, ambidexter.

දැන·පුරුදු, a. accustomed to, familiar with.

නු·පුරුදු, a. unaccustomed, unpractised, පුරුදු නැති.

නු·හුරු, a. incongruous, unaccustomed, inapt clumsy.

පළ·පුරුදු, a. accustomed to, practised, expert at, proficient.

පළ·පුරුදුකරනවා, v. t. to accustom to, familiarize with, train.

ප්‍ර·ගුණ, a. very virtuous, සුචරිත, honest, upright, අවංක; trained, පුහුණු, accustomed to, පුරුදු.

ප්‍ර·ගුණකරනවා, v. t. to accustom, train, පුරුදු කරනවා, indoctrinate, පුහුණුකරවනවා; study, master, පුහුණුකරගන්නවා.
