අධි ගමනය, අධි ගමය, n. fig. the higher journey or saintly life which leads to Arhatship and Nirvāna; acquisition; study, knowledge.

අනුමෝදනාව, අනුමෝදන්, n. participation of or satisfaction with the joy or merit acquired, B. P. acceptance of and thanks for offerings made, with benediction also.

අප නයනය, n. taking away, removal, දුරුකෙ රීම; acquittance, paying, ගෙවීම.

අභි ඥාත, a. ascertained, known, දැන‍‍‍ගනතිබෙව, දන්නාලද, අභිඥානය, අභිඥාව n profound or sp. or extraordinary knowledge, cognition, recognition, විශේෂ දැනගැන්ම or දැනීම; five supernatural acquirements of Rahats, viz. power to assume any form, to hear the feeblest sounds and see objects at any distance, to know the disposition and thoughts of others, to know the condition of any person in former existences.

ආපන්න, a. attained, acquired, පැමිණි, ප්‍රාප්ත.

ආ‍‍පතිය, n. aptness &c.; acquisition &c.; ප්‍රාපතිය, විශ්වාසකම.

ආ‍‍පාත, a. apt, fit, appropriate, සුදුසු; acquired, ප්‍රාපාත; trusty, trusted, විශ්වාස; generally received, authoritative, ඒත්තුගන්නාලද.

උද්ග්‍රහණය, n. lit. taking up: acquiring, attainment, ඉගනගැනීම.

උප ලබ්ධිය, n. acquisition, gain, ලාභය; knowledge, දැනගැම්ම; understanding, mind, මතිය; faith, ඇදහිල්ල; sub-sect, උපනිකාය.

උපයනවා, v. t. procure, acquire, provide, furnish, සපයනවා; pret. ඉපයෙවුවා; v. n. ඉපයීම.

උපාජීජනය, n. (උප, අජී to collect, gain), acquiring, acquis tion, ලබාගැනීම, collection, රැස් කෙරීම.

උපාජීජිත, a. acquired, collected, ලබාගන්නලද &c.

එකඟ, a. unanimous, acquiescing; consonant, consistent.

එකඟකම, එකඟ්‍ය, n. unanimity, acquiescence &c.

එකඟවෙනවා, v. i. to become unanimous, agree, concur, acquiesce; cohere, be consonant or consistent.
