අ සංඛත, a. without addition; ep. of Nirvāna, අ සංඛත ධාතුව, n. additionless, state viz. Nirvāna, නිවන.

අනු යාගය, n. an accompanying or additional offering.

උප, prefix signifying auxiliary, secondary, near; over, in addition, excessive.

උප හාරය, n. additional or complimentary gift, present, offering, දීමනාව, පඬුර.

එකතුකිරීම, v. n. adding &c; arith. addition.

ඒ, n. The twelfth letter of the alphabet. Its sound is that of the preceding vowel lengthened: as a in Fade, but somewhat broader, the initial sound of it being maintained throughout, without changing into i as the English sound does: consequently in English words it would seem somewhat inelegant. Its non-initial form is the same as the preceding, but lengthened by the addition of /?/ or ි to the consonant, as කේ ké (cay), මේ mé (may).

භින්න·සංකලනය, n. addition of fractions.

රණ·උණ, golden bamboo, a sp. of උණගහ. රතු or රත් red, sometimes indicating a var. or sp. but often merely an additional description of the same plant.
