අ පරි ක්ෂිපත, a. (අ priv., පරි, around), unsurrounded, unintrenched, වටලානැති.

අව‍ට, a. post., ad., circular; surrounding; around; වටකර.

අශ්ව කර්‍ණය, n. lit. horse-ear, a plant (see Bot.); name of the seventh circle of rocks around Maha Mera: see සප්තකූට පර්‍වත.

ආ වෘත්ත, a. gone around or reverted, වටකර ගිය, ආපසුගිය; averted, stopped, නැවතුණු.

ආ වෘත්ත ගමන, n. journey around, circuit, වට කරයාම, වටකර ගමන.

එතවීම, v. n. of ඔතවනවා: causing to wrap around.

ඔතවනවා, v. c. causing to wrap around; pret. එතෙවුවා; v. n. එතවීම.

තේ·කිසිනු, n. (glorious asceticism), Buddha's power, acquired by the severest religious austerities, of diffusing a fiery splendour from his body sufficient to illumine the region around him for many miles; ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz, fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of fire.
