අ ක්ෂණ, a. not momentary, enduring, පවතින,

අතර‍තුරේ, post. during, among: ඒ අතරතුරේ, during that, meanwhile.

අධි මාසය, n. intercalary month, consisting of the difference between the solar and lunar year; super or superior month, viz., the first of any two months that begin during one and the same sign of the zodiac.

අන්තරව, ad. in the interval; during, අතරතුරේ, among, අතරෙහි.

කටරොළු, the durion fruit tree, Durio zibethinus (Bombaceœ) (කටු thorn, sharp, pungent).

කටු·‍බොඩ, wild durio, Cullenia excelsa (Malv.).

කර ග්‍රහණය, කර ග්‍රහය, n. taking the hand, viz. marrying, marriage: during the ceremony the right hand of the bride, with the palm uppermost, is placed in the right hand of the bridegroom.

කල්පය, n. a period said to be equal to a day of Brahma which equals 4,320,000,000 solar years: it is the Sakwala or world period, which is divided into four parts, viz. its formation, its duration, its destruction and its non-entity until the commencement of its reformation. It is difficult, however, to reconcile the various statements one with another, since during the Kalpa the age of man is said to gradually increase from ten years to an asankhya and again to diminish gradually to ten years: an asankhya being about the twentieth power of a million.

තන්තිරි·කඩය, n. accommodation or temporary boutique opened at night during Mohammedan fast-days.

තමිස්‍රාව, n. dense darkness, ඝනාන්‍ධකාරය dark night (during the wane), අන්‍ධකාර රාත්‍රිය.

තුර, suf. to අතර, as ඒඅතරතුර: during that, meanwhile.

දිවි·හිමියෙන්, ad. during life, throughout life.

දෝව, n. a hollow between higher grounds where water collects during the rains.

ධාරණ, a. enduring, sustaining, retentive, දරන, උසුලන; keeping in remembrance, සිහි කරන.
