අග්නි ධාතුව, n. element of fire; fig. bile, පිත.

අනුපාදිශේෂ, a. (අන් උපාදි:), pert. to extinction or absence of the five elements (පංච ස්කන්ධ) of which beings consist and which bar the way to Nirvāna, unresidual, elementless, ස්කන්ධ ශේෂ නැති.

ආ රම්භ ධාතුව, n. the first element or effort, පළමු වීය්‍යීය.

ආ රම්භාකෘති, a. initial, elementary, rudimentary, මුල්වූ, මුල් ධාතුවූ.

ආකාශ ධාතුව, n. the sky as an element or permanence, අහස, element of air, වාතය; space, ආකාශය.

ආකාසෝ කසින, n. P., ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz, fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of air. See පරිකසින.

ආත්‍රේය, n. son of the sage Atri; fluid element of the body, රසධාතුව.

ආද්‍ය ධාතුව, n. (ආද්‍ය first), first element, protoplasm. E. S.

ආ‍‍පෝ ක්සිනය, n. (ආ‍‍පෝ fr. ආප: water), supen natural power over the humours of the body, attained by ascetic meditation; ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz. fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of water. See පරිකසින.

ආ‍‍පෝ ධාතුව, n. element of water, watery humour of the body.

තෙල්·ධාතුව, n. oil-element: the serous oily fluid of the body.

තේ·කිසිනු, n. (glorious asceticism), Buddha's power, acquired by the severest religious austerities, of diffusing a fiery splendour from his body sufficient to illumine the region around him for many miles; ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz, fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of fire. See පරිකසින.

තේජෝ·ධාතුව, n. (තේජස් fire), element of fire, caloric; source of animal heat, bile, පිත; digestive power, ජීර්‍ණබලය.

ද්‍රව්‍ය, n. pl. or a. materials, articles, things, substances, elements, ingredients.

දා·දොස, n. disease of any of the seven elements or constituent parts of the body. See සප්ත ධාතු.
